Hi!
I’m Brittany! I’m a seventh-grade English teacher and a passionate crafter. I’ve been teaching middle school for nine years, and I absolutely love it. One of my favorite parts of teaching is designing engaging lessons and finding creative ways to get my students excited about reading and writing. Over time, I’ve also developed a passion for sharing my teaching ideas with others, which led me to start @hiphophoorayforELA on Instagram and TikTok.
While many of my creative ideas revolve around my students, I recently realized I wanted a creative outlet at home. A friend introduced me to hand-knitting, and I was instantly hooked. My curiosity led me to explore what else I could make, which brought me to hand-knitted stuffed animals. When one of my best friends had a baby, I decided to try making her a special gift. I found a tutorial on Etsy, and from that moment, my creations took off.
Now, you can find me at local craft shows selling my handmade pieces or gifting them at baby showers, first birthdays, and other special events. If you can’t make it to a craft show, you can find my products on Etsy too. I love knowing that my creations bring joy to others, and even more, I love inspiring people to explore their own creative passions. Thanks for being here—I can’t wait to meet you!
